St Mary & All Saints, Fotheringhay, Northamptonshire

St. Mary & All Saints is a fascinating 15th C church located in the small village of Fotheringhay in Northamptonshire. In addition to the beautiful architecture, it is notable for containing a mausoleum to leading members of the Yorkist dynasty of the War of the Roses.

The 15 month repair contract commenced on site in July 2017. Works involve the re-leading of all of the roofs, extensive stone masonry repair including cleaning and re-pointing, structural roof timber repairs, conservation and repair of leaded light windows, the installation of new access and roof safety systems and repairs to rainwater goods.

Previous phases of work have included improvements to below ground drainage systems, new WC facilities and a new refreshment kitchenette facility.
